Children's Day 2012

One of The Family Place's students' favorite celebrations, Children's Day is an annual event. This year, TFP staff members and students went to celebrate at a local Chuck E Cheese. Highlights of the day: children playing with their parents, pizzas, and mostly our new basketball star: Ann Barnet. Many thanks to Jennifer Elena, one of TFP board members whose sponsorship made the event possible.

Welcome Bianca!

The Family Place is happy to welcome Bianca Lopez as a new member of the Family Literacy team! Ms Lopez is the new Lead Educator for the Infant and Toddler room. A past TFP Child Development Associate (CDA) student, Ms Lopez volunteered in the ECE rooms here at TFP from September to December 2011.
